The Bootcamp and Outdoor Group Fitness Course
Why undertake the course?
The Bootcamp and Outdoor Group Fitness Course is registered and accredited with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), REPS New Zealand (REPS NZ) and Fitness Australia. The Bootcamp Alliance has specially designed the course to qualify fitness professionals, or those wanting employment, in the discipline of bootcamps and outdoor fitness. You will be taught by an independent team with extensive military and fitness backgrounds.
What is the qualification process?
There are two parts, part 1 and part 2 (advanced concepts), to this qualification.
How many CECs are the courses worth?
It depends on the accrediting body and delivery mode:
ACE - Online mode: 1.6 CECs | Workshop mode: 1.7 CECs.
ACSM - 16 CECs
REPS NZ - 20 CECs
Fitness Australia - Online mode: 17 CECs | Workshop mode: 16 CECs. (delivered as two courses)
How long is the course?
The onlne mode course will take approximately 16 hours of work to complete. We allow 3 months to complete this course as we understand many fitness professionals are busy.
The face to face mode course is conducted over two consecutive days of approximately 8 hours each.
What will I learn?
You learn how to run your own bootcamp or outdoor fitness classes. We will teach you how to do it safely, successfully, and professionally. We will give you a bunch of ideas to take home with you. Check out the course outlines for further detail.
What will I get?
You receive a comprehensive manual for each part of the course. Additionally, you will receive lesson plans to help you formulate your own class, along with a risk assessment table to make your class safe.
I already run my own bootcamps, what will the Bootcamp Alliance course give me?
