1 Minute Fitness
Aim: Teamwork
Length: Approx 45 minutes
After conducting your warm up, put all your clients into two (or three) groups, with an even spread of fitness within the group.
In this class it is team versus team.
The Challenge
You can decide what each round is to be based on your equipment holdings and client experience.
Team 1 chooses (or you may decide to choose) the activity. As a team, they have 1 minute to complete as many reps as possible of that activity (total). There is a short delay (10-20 seconds), before Team 2 then attempt to beat Team 1. The winning team has the most reps (team total).
Team 2 then chooses an activity, and the challenge repeats.
This is repeated with the team choosing the activity alternating.
Two teams equates to a 50/50 work to rest ratio (approx), whereas three teams gives two opportunities for rest.
